Marc & Gael (Marc is pictured below & Gael is pictured on the Main Page in the L-hand column) love their Segways & the independence it affords them to tool around in a fun & less conspicuous manner than traditional options ~ below is an opinion Marc voiced about Segways becoming more readily available to the physically-challenged ~ WHAT DO YOU THINK?

"It would be great if Segways could be classified by the FDA as an assistive mobility device.
But, more than that...we need to have our government enact laws to allow both the disabled and their loved ones to both use Segways for travel together, adventures together, and going out for "walks" (i.e. rolls) together.
It would be unfortunate if Segways were allowed in some places for the disabled, but not for their family and/or friends.
Segways are great for the disabled to use along with others."

"We can now go around our neighborhood together like we used to when we could go for long walks. The key word being "Together!"
